Since 1989 the festival has featured more than 300 bands at Bayfront Park. Every year nearly 30 national performers are showcased on two stages and in nearly 20 local nightclubs.

The Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival is an annual fundraising event organized by the Superior Rotary Club and Duluth's Harbortown Rotary Club. The race is held in the Superior Bay off Barkers Island in Superior, Wisconsin and includes a traditional dragon boat race as well as a host of festivities.
