Duluth Zoos & Aquariums
Located along the Duluth harbor, the Great Lakes Aquarium features aquarium exhibits, a history centre, a science centre, and cultural exhibits. It is America's only all-freshwater aquarium, and houses a gift-shop, cafe, and classrooms.
The Lake Superior Zoo, located in the city of Duluth, is a year-round facility housing many species of animals. In addition to being home for some of the world's rarest furry and not-so-furry creatures, the zoo offers educational programs aimed at the preservation of these fine species. Many special events are also offered.
